The KYT NZ-Race Helmet is KYT’s race-designed full-face helmet built for riders who demand aerodynamic performance, ventilation, and comfort on both the road and the track. Designed and developed using advanced fluid-dynamic software and extensive wind tunnel testing, the NZ-Race delivers stable performance across multiple riding positions while maintaining a clean, aggressive profile.

KYT engineered the NZ-Race to balance performance and style without compromise. As a result, the helmet provides excellent airflow, reduced drag, and a wide field of vision suitable for competitive and street riding.

Aerodynamics and Visibility

KYT studied the shape of the NZ-Race helmet through fluid-dynamic simulations and repeated wind tunnel sessions. Because of this process, the helmet achieves improved aerodynamic efficiency and stability at speed.

The visor provides a wide peripheral and vertical field of view. This makes the NZ-Race ideal for road use and racing conditions where visibility is critical.

Shell Construction

The NZ-Race shell is produced using Triaxial Composite materials, combining carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass. This construction delivers high resistance to impacts while keeping weight controlled.

The shell is produced in two sizes (M and L). This helps maintain proper proportions, balance, and comfort across helmet sizes.

EPS Impact Protection

The internal polystyrene (EPS) liner is available in three sizes (S, M, L) and features variable density for improved ergonomics and impact absorption.

While the outer shell absorbs much of the initial impact force, the EPS liner manages remaining energy. As a result, the helmet provides progressive and controlled energy absorption across all impact zones.

Visor System

The NZ-Race visor is PC-injected and treated with an anti-scratch coating. It features Class 1 optical clarity and variable thickness for improved vision.

A new tool-free ratchet system allows easy visor removal. The visor is also Pinlock® Max Vision compatible, making it suitable for both road and racing use.

Ventilation System

Ventilation plays a key role in rider comfort. The NZ-Race uses three front air intakes that work in combination with the internal EPS liner.

Special internal channeling allows fresh air to flow efficiently through the helmet. At the same time, hot air exits quickly to maintain a cool and dry interior during riding.

Interior Comfort

The cheek pads and internal comfort liner are removable, washable, and replaceable. KYT uses premium bi-elastic fabrics paired with open-cell sponges to enhance airflow.

These materials help wick moisture and keep the interior fresh, dry, and comfortable during extended rides.

Retention System

The NZ-Race helmet uses a double D-ring retention system. This system provides a secure fit and is compatible with micrometric add-ons.
